Cover letter

Dear team,

my name is Chiara Berti and I’m determinedly building my path toward cybersecurity and ethical hacking. I’m not starting from scratch: I bring more than ten years in design, during which every repetitive task became a chance to write code. That’s how Python, Bash, PHP, Linux, SQL and web development came into my work, and how I learned to analyze a problem, connect different technologies and design automations that reduce errors and improve the way we work.

It was this curiosity that led me, naturally, toward security. In 2024 I decided to turn it into a professional path; in 2026 I earned the CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) certification, and I keep deepening my knowledge of Linux, networking and offensive security through constant study and hands-on labs.

I believe the best way to defend a system is to understand it all the way to its limits — that’s why my goal is to grow into Penetration Testing and Red Teaming. I bring an analytical mindset, attention to detail, a solid technical foundation and a strong work ethic.

I’m looking for an environment where I can contribute, learn every day and leverage both my security skills and my background as a designer and developer.
